Jason Yeo Hong Thiam

Jason Yeo obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Tasmania in 2001. He commenced pupilage at the chambers of Messrs Zain & Co and was admitted as Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court at Malaya on 19th July 2002.

Jason Yeo commenced legal practice in 2002 with Messrs Lim Kian Leong & Co and thereafter with Messrs Badrul Lee & Associates. His areas of practice include general civil litigation and banking litigation.

Jason Yeo decided to venture into the corporate sector in 2007 by joining Gamuda Berhad. Whilst at Gamuda, he was primarily responsible to oversee the company’s litigation matters and also advised in corporate agreements, project tenders, dispute resolutions, corporate financing and all ancillary legal matters concerning Gamuda Berhad and its subsidiaries such as Lingkaran Transkota Sdn Bhd (LITRAK) and Syarikat Pengeluar Air Sungai Selangor Sdn Bhd (SPLASH). He was also very much involved in advising Gamuda’s development arm known as Gamuda Land, responsible for all legal issues concerning residential townships such as Valencia, Bandar Botanic, Kota Kemuning, Jade Hills, Horizon Hills and Kota Permai Golf & Country Club.

Having benefitted from his experience in both litigation and corporate work, Jason Yeo decided to return to legal practise in 2009 by joining Messrs Yeap Yong Amy to focus on the area of general civil litigation until December 2015, Messrs Azwar & Associates crica 2015 to 2023 prior to joining Messrs JM Chong Vincent Chee & Co.
