Chris YH Tan is a Partner and Head of the Firm's Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Chris began his career in 2007 as a litigation clerk in Kuala Lumpur and pursued his LLB and subsequently his Certificate in Legal Practice as a part-time student. In 2012, Chris completed the Diploma in International Arbitration with distinction. Chris was called to the Malaysian Bar on 29 November 2013.
Chris joined the Firm as a Senior Associate since May 2019 and handles a myriad of general litigation cases including family and matrimonial disputes, contractual and construction claims, tenancy disputes, land acquisition matters, company related such as shareholder and minority oppression disputes as well as tortious disputes. Apart from acting as Counsels for these matters and appeared in the Courts in Malaysia, he also regularly advises the Firm's clients on Wills and Estate Administration matters, including drafting of Wills.
Chris also currently sits as an expert for the Klang Chinese Chambers and Commerce Industry's (KCCCI) expert advisory panel (KEAP).
