Nirmala Munusamy
Senior Associate
Nirmala is a Senior Associate in the Firm’s Conveyancing Department. Nirmala
was called to the Bar on 10th January 1992 and joined the Firm in 2004.
With 32 years of experience, Nirmala has helped clients solve their most
complex and challenging legal problems. She primarily focuses her practice
on Real Estate matters and advises Developer, Financiers and Corporate
clients alike on Housing and Strata Development, finance and banking and its
latest legislations.
Nirmala is committed in maintaining a high level of communication and
takes the time to truly involve the client in achieving their goals, and
resolving their concerns.
She also assists Developers in the formation of the Joint Management Body
(JMB) and the Management Corporation (MC) and addresses legal issues
raised by the members of the JMB and MC. In line with the ever-evolving
statutes relating to the housing and strata properties, Nirmala works
closely with the officials in the Housing Ministry, Land Offices/Registry,
Inland Revenue Board and various government departments.
Her main clients include Sunsuria Group of Companies, Bangsar Hill Park,
Paramount Properties, Gamuda Development, Suez Cap, CI Medini Johor, IOI
Properties, IJM Group, Island Circle Development (M) Sdn Bhd, Eco World
Development Group Bhd, Simas-D Sdn Bhd, SP Setia Group Bhd, Harum
Intisari, Harp Soon Group and financial Institutions such as Al Rajhi,
Affin Bank/Islamic, Alliance Bank, AmBank/Am Islamic, Bank of China,
